In the more then 50.000 children treated with DEFLUX worldwide, there have been no persistent adverse events reported.

DEFLUX has been used in Europe for over a decade to treat VUR, with no reported persistent adverse events that are attributable to its use.3, 4 The procedure itself is well tolerated with a low risk of associated complications.3, 5 A few patients may experience a mild pain in their flank after treatment, which was reported in less than 4% of patients in one study.6 Any discomfort experienced is minor and easy to treat.
